Photoluminescent raw materials for industry and series production

LUMENTIFY supplies glow-in-the-dark pigments and photoluminescent raw materials as the building block for your products – not as a finished end product, but as the material basis for your own processing.

Raw material 01

Glow-in-the-dark pigments

Phosphorescent pigments for a long-lasting afterglow – as glow powder in various particle sizes, matched to your application and carrier material.

Base
Europium/dysprosium-doped strontium aluminate, SiO₂-coated
Glow colours
Yellow-green (brightest), blue-green, blue; further shades tinted
Particle size
Fine to coarse – finer grades for smooth, thin layers, coarser grades for more brightness
Loading
Guide value 15–20 % relative to the carrier, 30–50 % in opaque carriers
Glow granules (up to 1 mm) in a glass dish, green, glowing in the dark

Raw material 02

Glow granules

Pure strontium aluminate in grain sizes up to 1 mm – a photoluminescent raw material for integration into your own material systems, visible as individual grains.

Material
Pure strontium aluminate – the luminescent material itself, without binder
Grain size
Up to 1 mm maximum; coarser sizes from 4 mm are available as resin-based glow stones
Surfaces
Press into the fresh surface and grind, or embed under a clear, walk-resistant top coat (epoxy, exterior lacquer)
Casting & filling
Cast into resin as visible grains; as filling for vessels and light stores – hydrolysis-resistant, even permanently in water
Note
Mixed into a material, the grain disappears below the surface; the effect is created where it stays visible
Glow stones (approx. 2 cm), green, glowing in the dark
Glow stones (approx. 2 cm), green, in daylight
DaylightIn the dark
Glow stones (approx. 2 cm) and glow pebbles (4–8 mm) in daylight and in the dark – drag the slider, make a choice.

Raw material 03

Resin-based glow stones

From 4 mm upwards, we make glow stones and pebbles from resin and glow pigment – in any colour, size and grain, matched to your product or project.

Material
Resin with embedded glow pigment
Colours
Any colour possible; yellow-green and blue-green glow brightest
Sizes & grains
From 4 mm, all sizes and grains possible
Uses
Paths, garden and landscaping, embedding in resin or concrete surfaces, decor ranges

Quantities

From samples to bulk

You need glow pigments not by the gram but by the kilogram, in large containers or as recurring production quantities? LUMENTIFY supplies from the first samples to bulk quantities.

  1. Samplesfor testing in your production
  2. Project quantityfor pilot runs and individual projects
  3. Series quantityfor recurring production
  4. Bulk quantityin large containers

Material data at a glance

Strontium aluminate glow pigments
MaterialEuropium/dysprosium-doped strontium aluminate, inorganic
SurfaceSiO₂-coated and therefore hydrolysis-resistant – even permanently in water
Thermal stabilityGlow pigment 1,100–1,200 °C; from approx. 150 °C use only untinted pigments (light, whitish daylight colour)
Glow coloursYellow-green (base shade, brightest), blue-green, blue; further shades tinted and weaker
Afterglow durationYellow-green, blue-green, blue: more than 10 hours in total darkness, as a faint glow after 1–2 hours
ExcitationUV content (daylight, UV from 365 nm) charges fastest, artificial light more slowly
Guide loading15–20 % relative to the carrier material, 30–50 % in opaque carriers
Ageingaround 5 % loss of brightness over 10 years (empirical value)
