Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website and the information about our raw materials as easily as possible – regardless of disabilities, device or assistive technology.

Compliance with accessibility guidelines

Lumentify GmbH strives to make this website as accessible as possible. We follow the European standard EN 301 549 and the underlying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 and 2.2.

The website largely complies with these guidelines. We are continuously working to meet further requirements and to provide all content in the most understandable form possible.

What we have implemented

  • Meaningful alternative texts for all content images; purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers
  • Clear heading hierarchy, semantic page regions and a "Skip to content" link
  • Keyboard operation with a visible focus outline – including the menu, the daylight/darkness slider and the enquiry form
  • Labelled form fields; error messages are associated with the relevant field and announced
  • The daylight/darkness slider is a labelled standard control usable by keyboard, mouse and touch
  • High colour contrast: light text on a dark background
  • Links in body text are additionally underlined, not only highlighted by colour
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting: animations such as the UV lamp then do not start automatically
  • Responsive layout without horizontal scrolling on smartphones and tablets
  • Text is displayed immediately, even before the fonts have fully loaded
  • No cookie banners or overlays covering content
  • Technical content such as the safety data sheet is also provided as HTML text, not only as a PDF

Known limitations

  • The PDF documents (safety data sheets) are not fully accessible. The key information is available as text on the downloads page.
  • Route planning opens Google Maps; we have no influence on its accessibility.

We are happy to provide information on request in a form that is accessible to you.
